Thank You Gifts

Against the formidable backdrop of Pittsburgh's former Homestead Steel Works, appraiser Peter Shemonsky shows host Mark L. Highlights include a 6.5 carat yellow mine cut diamond ring kept for years in a sock drawer; a North American Indian club and pipe the owner believes belonged to Sitting Bull; and three Charles Darwin first editions, including an 1830s collection of The Voyage of the Beagle, an 1859 On the Origin of Species, and an 1871 The Descent of Man, insured at $284,000
