As heirloom seeds continue to lose ground to modern hybrids, habitat destruction and carless stewardship, many of these treasured varieties of the past are lost for ever. Now, with the threat of cross-pollination from genetically modified plants, preserving true, untainted organic seeds is not only important, it's vital to ensuring the ongoing supply of non-altered plants and a critical link to preserving our past. In this episode, we get a hands-on lesson in saving seeds and learn more about how to preserve the integrity of true organic seed stock.
