Save Sunday, March 4, for a celebration of Dr Seuss books, including readings by well-known readers and a performance of The Lorax by Norwich thespians, ages 4 to 8. The event will be held at Tracy Hall from 12:30-4:30 p.m.

All proceeds from Seusstival will benefit the Children's Room of the Norwich Public Library and Norwich's two remaining one-room schoolhouses in public ownership, the Beaver Meadow Schoolhouse and the Root District Schoolhouse.

Participating sponsors will pledge funds to honor their favorite Seuss books. Those with the most pledges will be read as part of the festival.

Aong with the play and the readings, Seusstival will serve Seuss-themed baked goods and an art space for kids.

Admission to Seusstival is free. Those who would like to sponsor books should download the form from the library's website or request a form by email by writing to seusstival@gmail.com.
